Fabric sold as linen online can arrive thin and shiny, with the smell of the bag still in it. You find that out after you have cut it, and cut fabric cannot be returned.
Thin, smelly, shiny, limp, or weirdly crunchy. Sometimes all of it at once. You rub a corner between your thumb and finger and it squeaks. Three weeks of waiting for that, and it is never going on an altar.
This is the other kind. Bright white 100% Irish linen, 60 inches wide, with beginner patterns that mark the embroidery placement and settle the traditional sizes before you cut. The 64 sacred embroidery designs are sent after purchase and need an embroidery machine. The linen and patterns do not.
$59.99 / yard $79.99 save 25% · 100% Irish linen, 60″, bright white · patterns + 64 designs included
One order brings you professional-grade Irish linen to sew with, plus the patterns and embroidery designs to guide the work, delivered the moment you order.
The patterns and all 64 embroidery designs are delivered by email immediately after purchase, one set per order, whether you buy one yard or ten.
Ruining sixty dollars of linen with one bad cut. Guessing wrong about what is proper for the altar. And the hems, which on fine linen are famously unforgiving. The kit answers each one.

Start with a single purificator. It takes half a yard by the pattern's own chart, so a yard leaves room for practice and nobody ever needs to see the first try.
Every order includes the full digital set once, the two patterns and all 64 machine-embroidery designs. Order a little extra for practice and shrinkage; the linen is 25% off its regular price here.
Patterns and embroidery designs are emailed immediately after purchase. Fabric ships by the yard; please allow 3 to 14 days.
Not ready for yards? A 4 by 6 inch swatch of this same Renaissance Irish linen is $5.99 plus shipping. Hold it against the fair linen already on your altar and look at the white in your own sacristy light before you order.
We will say the hard part plainly. Once linen is cut to your length it is yours. Cut yardage is final sale, the same as at any fabric counter. That is the honest reason the swatch exists.
