Chasuble in the Philip Melanchthon Ecclesiastical Collection
Brand Ecclesiastical Sewing
This Reformation Chasuble was created to mark the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation. It features the Luther Rose in a quatrefoil frame on a front column orphrey. The chasuble back also features the column orphrey with the Chi Rho Design. The chasuble is made from the Red Lichfield with trim accents. The orphreys are our black Fairford brocade. It is fully lined in black satin. These are not mass produced chasubles, but quality handcrafted vestments that are made to be worn and last for years with proper care.
