Resplendent Linen Blend is a liturgical fabric made from a blend of linen and cotton fibers. It has a fine, smooth texture, a tight even weave, and a wide 108" width. This would be suitable for a variety of uses, including altar Fairlinens, small altar linens, and assorted vestments. It would also work well for hand embroidery. The weight of this linen would lend itself well for making rochets and vintage style albs, as well as for making cathedral surplices. The cotton fibers give it a slightly softer, more draping hand than other fabrics made from 100% linen. For those who want linen, but the ease and care of cotton, Resplendent offers the perfect alternative.
Linen fabric has a high percentage of shrinkage. Please allow extra yardage for shrinkage. Fabric is not returnable for shrinkage or failure to allow extra yardage to accommodate shrinkage factors.
