Matte Satin
Matte Satin is a perfect fabric to select for use in lining church vestment fabrics, or to create contrast bands for embroidery, etc. The fabric has a soft matte finish on the right side. There is a soft subtle sheen created as the light hits the fabric, giving a rich, elegant and understated finish.
The fabric also has a wonderful hand and drapes and hangs well. It would work beautifully for creating Lenten drapes in violet or black. The white would be a nice selection to create a white drape over a cross for Easter. And of course, the fabric creates beautiful formal wear and costumes. Consider using the white fabric for Bridal gowns, first communion gowns and Baptismal Gowns.
