Cloth of Gold Fabric - Late 19th Century Style
Cloth of Gold and Cloth of Silver have deep roots in liturgical fabric history. This replica of Cloth of Gold is created in the style of the heavy French Cloths of Gold of the late nineteenth century.
Cloth of Gold Visual Note - Shimmering Detail
While difficult to capture in photography, this Cloth of Gold shimmers and shines in dim lighting, while staying beautifully radiant under the rays of bright sunshine.
This liturgical fabric selection is used when the occasion calls for a dramatic accent or when something special is required. Cloth of Gold is perfect for miters, as well as for orphrey trims or bands for stoles. Consider using Cloth of Gold for the hood of a cope or as the base for an embroidery design. Our church linen can even be used for making liturgical vestments or chasubles & priest stoles.
