Gilt Grecian Twist Goldwork Metal Thread
Grecian Twists are a two toned twisted cord with on cord having a shiny, serrated surface and the other cord having a smooth, matte surface.
Grecian Twists make a great outlining thread.
Sizes:
- Gilt Baby One Tone is approximately 1 mm across the width of the thread
- Gilt Baby Two Tone is approximately 1 mm across the width of the thread
- Gilt Fine Grecian is approximately 1.2 mm across the width of the thread
- Gilt Medium Grecian is approximately 1.8 mm across the width of the thread
- Gilt Large Grecian is approximately 2 mm across the width of the thread

Sold in 1 yard lengths
- Continuous lengths available for Baby One and Two-toned, Medium and Large Grecian.
Stitch the Gilt Twist in place using diagonal couching stitches that fall between the twists of the thread.
We recommend using Au Ver A Soie 100/3 thread color 240 or 241.
It also helps to use a waxed thread when couching twists. Check out our strawberry bees wax.
