A red Pentecost superfrontal featuring a centered descending dove, flanked by gold Chi Rho symbols and finished with a gold fringe hem. Designed to proclaim the glory, authority, and presence of the Holy Spirit during Pentecost and festal seasons.

Designed to anchor the altar visually during Pentecost and major festivals of the Holy Spirit, this superfrontal presents a clear and powerful theological statement through classical Christian symbolism.

At the center, the Holy Spirit descends in the form of a dove, wings extended in measured balance, signifying divine initiative and heavenly origin. The placement at the heart of the altar emphasizes the Spirit’s role in sanctification, worship, and the life of the Church.

On either end, gold Chi Rho symbols proclaim Christ as Alpha and Omega, Lord of the Church, and the One through whom the Spirit is given. Together, dove and Chi Rho confess the unity of Christ and Spirit, inseparable in the work of redemption and proclamation.

A gold fringe at the hem completes the piece, drawing from long-standing altar textile tradition and marking the superfrontal as a festal garment of honor and reverence.

Crafted in either Luther Rose Brocade or Red Lichfield Brocade, this superfrontal is made to order by Ecclesiastical Sewing, using historically grounded design, durable materials, and careful attention to liturgical proportion.

• The Descending Dove — Represents the Holy Spirit proceeding from heaven, sanctifying the altar and the worship offered upon it.
• Chi Rho (☧) - The ancient monogram of Christ, declaring His sovereignty and victory. Its placement affirms that the Spirit glorifies Christ and proceeds in unity with Him.
