Rochet Sewing Pattern for Bishops
Lace Rochet Pattern features lace inserts for the lower sleeve and a lace skirt. The front has a square yoke with a center opening.
The top may be made from any of our lightweight linens such as the Renaissance, Alabastrine, Angelius, or Opalescent linens. The skirt may be made from lace yardage that has a galloon applied to the bottom edge or a scallop edged lace. The sleeves may have an additional piece added in an appropriate lining color such as black, red, or purple. The sleeve length may need to be adjusted (lengthened or shortened) based in the width of the lace being used.*

Yardage:
Linen: 1 yard of 60 inch linen
Narrow lace for sleeves: 1 1/4 to 1/1/2 yards
Lace yardage for skirt: 3/4 to 1 yard of 60" lace
*This pattern comes with "basic" instructions and assumes the seamstress/tailor has the knowledge to make this garment. More detailed instructions will be provided at a future date when they come out in book form.
