Pomegranate Cross
This intricate Pomegranate Cross design created by Deciphering Designs reminds us of one of the seven species of fruits and grains listed in the Old Testament as a special product of the land of Israel (Deuteronomy 8:8). The design inspiration is from a turn of the century embroidery catalog.
The Bible also tells us that the symbol was embroidered on the Priests vestments: Make pomegranates of blue, purple and scarlet yarn around the hem of the robe, with gold bells between them.Exodus 28:33
