Chartres White Brocade brings a generous floral pattern to church vestments and altar hangings. Large quatrefoils filled with leafy scrollwork alternate with smaller ornamental crosses, creating a design that rewards a closer look.
The white-on-white pattern is woven into the fabric. Light catches the different directions of the weave, revealing the flowers, crosses and fine scrolling details without a contrasting color. Soft folds show the brocade’s changing sheen.
