Abbey Rose Jacquard Ribbon Orphrey Trim 1.75" Wide
An elegant floral jacquard ribbon woven in burgundy, rose, ivory, green, and metallic gold, especially suited for rose vestments and paraments for Gaudete and Laetare Sundays.
The Abbey Rose Jacquard Ribbon features an ornate floral design woven on a warm ivory ground with rich burgundy and rose motifs, soft accent colors, green details, and metallic gold highlights.
At 1¾ inches wide, Abbey Rose makes a beautiful orphrey or decorative trim for ecclesiastical sewing projects. Its rich rose and burgundy coloring is especially well suited to rose vestments for Gaudete Sunday and Laetare Sunday, while the traditional floral design also lends itself to a variety of festal church textiles.
Use Abbey Rose Jacquard Ribbon to add an elegant woven accent to chasubles, stoles, copes, dalmatics, altar frontals, superfrontals, pulpit falls, lectern falls, banners, and other church vestments and paraments.
Because the ground is cream rather than white, it sits comfortably on rose, ivory, and antique white fabrics that a stark white trim would fight with.

Working With It
At 1.75" this is a true orphrey width for smaller pieces and a strong accent band on larger ones. The repeat is regular, so plan your cuts to land the medallions symmetrically — on a stole, measure from the center back out to each end rather than working from the hem up, and the two sides will match. Perfect for Dalmatics, Chalice veil, and burse accents.
Abbey Rose Jacquard Orphrey shown on Sarafina Rose Red and Rochester Heritage Weave Rose.
Sold by the yard. Swatch samples are approximately 1.75" x 3" and are for colour checking only.
