A New Look at Ecclesiastical Sewing

There is a new look at Ecclesiastical Sewing. And with a new look there comes a few technical challenges to work through.  While we continue to improve things and prepare for the opening of our online store later this spring or early summer, I hope you might enjoy looking at the photos of Wakefield in a violet/gold combination.

Wakefield Ecclesiastical Fabric in Violet Gold

There are a few things that one is sure to love from the start with this beautiful church vestment fabric. The first is the color. Now the above photo was taken out-of-doors on fall on a bright sunny day. The direct sunlight has changed the color slightly in the bright sunshine. But look at the shimmer of all of the gold threads as they catch the light!

The above photo shows the right side of Wakefield. But would you believe that this fabric is also reversible? The back side is a soft, all over gold that shimmers.

There is so much more to explain about the beauty of this fabric, but tomorrow is another day.
