Tintern Brocade is a traditional ecclesiastical brocade fabric built around a dense geometric diaper pattern—a repeating diagonal lattice structure found throughout historic church textiles, medieval ornament, and sacred decorative arts.

Large crosses and eight-pointed stars alternate throughout the repeat, creating a strong and ordered rhythm across the cloth. Smaller eagles, palmette fans, crosses, and geometric details fill the spaces between the principal motifs, leaving very little open ground and giving the fabric the richly ornamented appearance associated with traditional liturgical textiles.
